Often-times
Isn’t it just often and not often-times? I’ve seen a lot of people using the term “often times” here which, I think, is not a right word. I’ve never seen such a usage anywhere else. In my school and at work, I’ve seen people doing another mistake in their spoken English - “We could able to do
Okay, I shouldn’t be talking as if I always use the right constructs, but I feel building such consciousness is important to avoid common grammatical mistakes. This includes identifying when other people make mistakes though I think it is not good manners to correct them during such occasions.

Jokes apart, it’s not the same. It takes a greater effort to correct unconscious mistakes since you don’t know it is a mistake. These slips are fine.
